We offer three levels of Pickleball Club membership for the 23-24 season:

For the 2023-2024 season, everyone is encouraged to pay using the Court Reserve app or web site.

Guest policy
Open Play:
As the pickleball courts are a park amenity, time slots for open play are available for any resident (owner or renter) of Maple Leaf GCC. A club member or resident can invite a guest to participate/play in the Open Play time slots only. A guest is defined as a person(s) who are visiting the member/resident in their home at Maple Leaf GCC. No person under 18 is allowed without a resident and only during Open Play.
Skill Level Time Slots:
A guest of a Pickleball club member can participate/play in appropriate Skill Level time slots BUT must have selected and paid for one of the Renter/Guest temporary memberships.
$15 for 1 -30 days; $40 for 31-90 days; or $65 for 91 or more. The clock starts ticking the day the guest pays for the membership.

What services does the Club provide to its members?
- Loaner paddles, free.
- Organizes and runs periodic Club tournaments throughout the year.
- Organizes and hosts Club social events throughout the year.
- Providing Developing Skills for beginning players.
- Providing coaches for Club Skills and Drills, ball machine training, etc.
- Opportunity to participate in ML community fundraising events.
- Initial membership name tag. (planned)
- Discount (5%) on merchandise purchased through Pickleballcentral.com using code CRMLPC
- Providing rating evaluations for members. (in process)
- Development and maintenance of the Club website and online signups for club events.
- Maintenance of private Club Facebook Group page.
- Management of Club membership records and supplying timely information to members through email, bulletin boards at the courts and information available at the sign in boxes.
- Develops court usage schedules which are fair to all skill levels for both recreational and competitive members and also structured time to allow for round robins, classes and lessons, etc.
- Assuring court maintenance is done (either by Maple Leaf or Club members).
- Fundraising/Advocacy for more courts.
How does the Club represent its membership to Maple Leaf Golf & Country Club (MLG&CC)?
- Identifies club needs and submits annual requests to MLG&CC.
- Reports issues to Maple Leaf corporation that need attention and/or maintenance.
How is the Club membership money spent?
- Four new courts, #3,4, 5 & 6 (court 5 & 6-future)
- Website, CourtReserve, and Constant Contact fees.
- Balls.
- TUTOR ball machine, dolly, ball buckets, etc.
- Hitting wall (future)
- Purchase and maintenance of seating
- Court supplies – ball holders, paddle stacking systems, first aid supplies, windsocks, etc.
- Court banners and signage
- Storage units (purchase and maintenance)
- Facilitating Club social events
- Facilitating the purchase and resale of Club shirts and jackets (future)
- Club portion of shared expenses for capital projects and improvements such as shade structures, overhead fans, court resurfacing, and lighting
- In previous years, each player was provided with a ball upon signup. For the 23-24 season, the plan is to purchase 500 balls and keep a sufficient supply at the courts for use by players.
